The Source of this Knowledge

I want to take just one post to discuss where this knowledge comes from. I did not make this all up. Having studied the work of many success authors and works, including but not limited to visualization experts, I have seen a pattern in their work. At least since the mid-19th Century with the advent of the first so called “new thought” philosophers these techniques, which are really much older in their origination, have proven very effective for many successful people.

It is beyond the scope of this post to discuss the entire history of this development but it is worth noting that these concepts of success and definite purpose were taught to Napoleon Hill by the richest man of the 19th century, Andrew Carnegie. Hill went on to refine and teach these methods to millions throughout most of the 20th century. One of Hill’s colleagues, W. Clement Stone, who read Hill’s work, applied these same techniques to become very successful. He taught others these ideas, including Jack Canfield, who today teaches these ideas and writes on them.

There are many others in the past and today who work with these methods but this gives you an idea of how these success concepts have been passed down.

As has been said many times, success leaves clues, and you are well advised to study those clues to find your own success.

Next post we will return to where we left off last time – with the final part of identifying your purpose.

Wishing you Success and Prosperity,
