I recently attended a funeral. This was written on the program. There was no attribution. Well said:

He has achieved success who
Has lived well, laughed often
And loved much.

Who has enjoyed the love of
A good woman, and the respect
Of all who knew him.

Who has filled his niche
And accomplished his task.
Who has left the world
Better than he found it,
Whether through mentoring many
Or a playful sense of humor.

Who has always looked for the
Best in others and given them
The best he had,

Whose life was an inspiration,
Whose memory a benediction.

In memory of Ralph Younce.

Although there was no attribution for this, my research indicates it was first written and published in this form in 1904 by Bessie Anderson Stanley who was paraphrasing some similar words written by Ralph Waldo Emerson.
