Principled Centered Life

Stephen Covey, in his best seller, The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, reminds us to center our lives around solid principles because they never change. They are fundamental. They are self evident. They are not relative to anything. They are bedrock.

Honesty and integrity, for example, are principles. If you practice these principles they cannot fail you. Nothing substitutes for principles. Center your life around people or transitory theories and you may well falter. Center your life around principles and you will not. It may not always be easy or fun, but it is reliably true.
