Here is the New Plan for the Blog

I’ve spent some time now upgrading the blog’s appearance and functions. We now have our own URL: www.ctwblog.com which is great. As with all these web applications there is still a lot to do in the “back room” to finish up my SEO work and get this going.

Let’s talk about what you will be interested in seeing instead of boring computer stuff. You will notice up top at right a new page called Author Profiles. One by one we will be featuring important authors on that page with links to reviews at various locations including the www.Books2Wealth.com website. It will also link to all posts on this blog about that author, that author’s books, etc.

Over time this will create an index of authors with all kind of information about the author and links to book reviews and for your convenience links to buy the books if you wish to.

As a new author or book is identified or featured we will examine specific items of content from the books with short discussions here on the blog. Part of this is to stimulate discussion and part is to encourage people to actually study these works.

It is so easy to read books of this nature and then put them on the bookshelf and never look at them again until you get rid of them. This is a waste. Each book is full of nuggets of information and with most of them the deeper you dig the more you uncover. Many contain links to useful websites and additional information. I want you to learn that the value from books on investing, self improvement, leadership, business and other areas of self improvement is really from reading, re-reading and studying the to get the most out of them. It is not the quantity of books you read that matters; it is the depth you go in studying them. Some books require more study than others for sure, but they nearly all will yield far more value to you if you look at them more than once.

Interspersed among these book studies will be additional short and long articles and book reviews as well as blog reviews as I have done in the past.

I cannot wait to get started. I hope you join us in this adventure. And, remember, Reading Leads to Success – Successful People Read.
